Just Summon Neo-Bahamut To Defeat Final Bosses At Worlds

Hi! World Champion Makihito Mihara here with some strategy tips for getting past those final bosses in Worlds 2006!

The second-to-last boss, Final Form Gabriel, is really tough. This boss is difficult because it can cast Cure, Cura and Curaga on itself over and over. Even if you take away nearly all of Final Form Gabriel’s hit points, it can just heal itself all the way back to full.

Don’t get bogged down here trying to attack it with normal attacks. Just summon Neo-Bahamut, and this fight should be easy. Go into the battle with your dragon already on overdrive. Then, when you summon it, just have it do its final attack.

Final Form Gabriel might cast Wrathaga over and over, which affects your whole party, but that doesn’t matter. As long as you make sure you found all four Lotus Blooms (see my previous guide), Neo-Bahamut should finish him off with no problem.

The last boss, Ogura-X, is even tougher. This boss surrounds itself with up to three Jester’s Scepters that can really waste your time. Don’t bother trying to destroy them. Here’s a cool trick — you can use your Gigas Drowser on them (which you should have gotten after talking to Cid on the airship), and then Reflect the Gigas Drowser back. After that, you simply summon Neo-Bahamut, who will finish Ogura-X off in short order.

After the battle is over, just sit back and enjoy the sweet ending!
